COMPOSITION :

 

Each softgel capsule contains :

Codeine Phosphate                                                                      10       mg

Glyceryl Guaiacolate                                                                  100       mg

 

PACK SIZE AVAILABLE :

 

3 x 10 capsules in blister

 

INDICATIONS :

 

For symptomatic relief of cough in upper respiratory tract infections.

 

DOSAGE :

 

Adults take 1 capsule three times daily or as directed by the Physician.

 

SIDE EFFECTS :

 

Drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, constipation, hypertension and skin rashes may occur. However, if such symptoms occur, please consult your physician or pharmacist.

 

DRUG INTERACTIONS :

 

None known

 

CONTRAINDICATIONS :

 

Dispense carefully in children less than 6 years old and adults with prostatic enlargement, adrenal, or thyroid dysfunction.

 

To be given carefully when combined with phenothiazines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, monoamine oxidase inhibitors, tricyclic antidepressants.
