What is VALIAN-X recommended for?

VALIAN-X may help in the treatment of mild to moderate insomnia, restlessness, irritability, anxiety, difficulty falling asleep or other sleep disturbances.

How many capsules of VALIAN-X can I take?

You can take 1 or 2 capsules VALIAN-X in the night, 30 minutes to one hour before sleeping. or as directed by physician.

My doctor prescribed VALIAN-X for my insomnia. He suggested not to drive after I take the medicine. Why is that?

VALIAN-X induces sleep and may impair judgement and driving ability 2-3 hours after taking the capsule. Thus, you should not drive or use any heavy machinery after taking VALIAN-X.

What are the side effects of VALIAN-X?

Usually, VALIAN-X does not cause any side effects. Rarely, it may induce headache and stomach upset.

My 13-year-old daughter gets anxious and is unable to sleep in the night. Can I give her VALIAN-X?

VALIAN-X is not recommended for children. Talk to your doctor to seek help for your daughter.

I am battling depression with antidepressants for a couple of months now. Can I take VALIAN-X to improve my sleep?

Antidepressants usually have sedative effects. Taking VALIAN-X with antidepressants can induce more sleep. You can take VALIAN-X along with antidepressants only under the supervision of your doctor.

I have been taking VALIAN-X to manage my anxiety. This weekend I am going to drink alcohol with my friends. Can I take VALIAN-X after the party?

Alcohol may cause sleepiness and drowsiness, so does VALIAN-X. Taking VALIAN-X along with alcohol may cause too much sleepiness. Thus, it is not recommended to take these two together. However, you can talk to your doctor for further information.

Can I take VALIAN-X along with my anxiety medicine, alprazolam?

VALIAN-X may interfere with the metabolism of alprazolam. Moreover, taking VALIAN-X along with alprazolam may increase the side effects of alprazolam such as drowsiness. It is better to consult your doctor before taking VALIAN-X along with alprazolam.

My pregnancy is making me difficult to sleep in the night. Can I take VALIAN-X?

There is no information regarding the safety of VALIAN-X in pregnant and lactating women. Thus, it should be taken only under the supervision of your doctor.
