Maxcal is a bone-fortifying supplement designed to build and maintain bone health. It has calcium and vitamin D. vitamin D helps in absorption of calcium. It also has 5 additional minerals; magnesium, zinc, copper, manganese and boron, that help maintains strong, healthy bones and skeletal system.

MAXCAL is a high potency calcium supplement with the most concentrated form of calcium. It has vitamin D which helps in the absorption of calcium by the body. It also contains magnesium, which regulates the metabolism of calcium and is essential for strong bones. Other minerals like zinc, copper and manganese are also present, which are required for the development and support of the skeleton.
MAXCAL can be used for prevention of calcium deficiency which may occur due to growing age, pregnancy and other reasons. It also helps in healing of fractures prevention of bone disorders like osteoporosis.
Calcium and iron supplements should not be taken at the same time, as it may affect their absorption. Always maintain a gap of 2 to 3 hrs between the two.
You can take one tablet of MAXCAL twice daily along with meals or as prescribed by your doctor.
It is not recommended to take MAXCAL in patients with hyperthyroidism, as their calcium levels are moderately high.
Taking more than 2 MAXCAL tablets in a day can cause overdosing and result in stomach distress and hypercalcemia, a condition where the calcium levels in the blood increase more than normal.
MAXCAL should not be taken along with any other medication, particularly blood pressure medications like diuretics or verapamil. Make sure you maintain a gap of at least 1 to 2 hours between MAXCAL and blood pressure medication. However, do not take MAXCAL before consulting your doctor.
MAXCAL may sometimes cause gastrointestinal side effects such as bloating, gas, constipation, and flatulence.
