Mega Lifesciences is looking for a Category Manager to work closely with the Category Head in a fast-paced environment that will offer ample opportunities to learn and expand your experience and expertise.

Job Summary

As a Category Manager, your key tasks include:

  • Monitoring and continuously updating your understanding of the science, competitive landscape, business models, and demand-generation practices across Mega markets for your responsible categories.
  • Designing and executing 360-degree omnichannel marketing campaigns for priority brands /categories to drive aggressive growth and build brand equity.
  • Selling concepts and building awareness and interest for new brands through robust secondary research, opportunity sizing, and strategic-fit assessments across countries to secure registrations and successful launches.
  • Supporting and coordinating end-to-end launch execution for new brands within your categories, ensuring disciplined planning and on-time delivery.
  • Delivering specific projects as required, collaborating cross-functionally to meet ambitious goals and timelines.

Qualification & Experience

Applications are invited from interested candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Graduate degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) with a postgraduate qualification in Marketing (MBA preferred).
  • 7–10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical / healthcare industry across Sales and Product Management (PMT), within marketing-driven, OTC or hybrid environments.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing omnichannel brand plans across digital and offline channels.

Skills & Knowledge

The candidate will demonstrate the ability to drive end-to-end, 360-degree marketing strategies, integrating digital and offline campaigns with strong analytical rigor. The candidate will showcase clear direction even when data is limited, leveraging on-the-ground insights and prior experience. The candidate must possess proficiency in digital marketing tools, contemporary AI models, and Microsoft Office, and should bring a strong foundation in pharmacy fundamentals—pharmacology, pharmaceutics, and physiology—to translate scientific knowledge into effective, compliant marketing decisions.
