Mega Lifesciences is looking for a General Manager – Manufacturing to work closely with the Chief Operations Officer in a fast-paced environment that offers ample opportunities to learn and expand your experience and expertise.
Job Summary
As a General Manager – Manufacturing, your key tasks include:
- Leading and overseeing all factory operations to achieve the company’s production, quality, cost, and delivery targets while driving operational excellence.
- Establishing and executing factory strategies, goals, and operational plans aligned with Mega’s overall corporate direction.
- Providing strategic leadership and ensuring effective cross-functional coordination among production, quality assurance, supply chain, engineering, HR/Admin, and finance.
- Monitoring performance through KPIs, operational indicators, and management reports to ensure business objectives are met.
- Ensuring full compliance with GMP, applicable regulations, company policies, and international quality standards.
- Reviewing and managing annual budgets, operational expenses, and resource utilization to optimize performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Driving continuous improvement, productivity enhancement, efficiency, and risk management initiatives across all functions.
- Building a strong organizational culture centered on compliance, safety, accountability, and quality improvement.
- Developing people capability through effective talent management, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, regulators, and business partners, ensuring transparent communication and collaboration.
- Providing regular performance reviews, recommendations, and improvement plans to senior management.
Qualification & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy (B.Pharma) required; MBA or Master's in pharmacy /management preferred.
- Minimum 15–20 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, with proven expertise in GMP implementation, quality systems, regulatory compliance, and production management.
- Demonstrated success in business operations, strategic planning, people leadership, and cross-functional collaboration, with strong decision-making, negotiation, problem-solving, and senior-level stakeholder management skills.
