Mega Lifesciences is looking for a Finance & Commercial Manager to work closely with Regional Finance Director & Area Director in a fast-paced environment that will offer ample opportunities to learn and expand your experience and expertise.

Job Summary

As Finance & Commercial Manager, your key responsibilities are as below:

  • Working closely with Area Director, Business heads and Corporate Finance team to play active role in managing the finance and commercial aspects of the operation of East African Markets and reporting requirements.
  • Managing statutory audits, tax audits and other regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with the relevant local laws and liaising with lawyers, consultants, bankers, auditors as necessary.
  • Coordinating with the local distributors/customers on supply, managing the account receivable, inventory procurement and control, coordinating with Thailand SCM team.
  • Responsible for managing warehouse and importation process
  • Prepare & compile various MIS reports such as flash sales, P&L, working capital, segment-wise P&L, etc. for the management on a monthly basis and performance review with business heads.
  • Analyze costs, pricing, gross contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance against the business plans.
  • Lead role in yearly and quarterly forecast, embedding the efficiencies and productivity in the process and systems.
  • Implementation of strategic system and process (ERP / Board / BI tools).
  • Defining and setting up the process and creating SOPs.

Qualification & Experience

Applications are invited from the candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Finance professional Qualification equivalent to CA / CPA.
  • Minimum 05 years’ experience post CA.
  • Professional use of MS office.
  • Experience in handling ERP systems.
  • Previous work experience in Pharmaceutical business is preferable.
  • Candidates preferred having experience in handling audits, financial and management reports, exposure in ERP system, cost management, company and tax regulations, procurement and warehouse management, importation, treasury.

Skill & Knowledge

The ideal candidate should possess good communication skills to collaborate with cross functional teams. In addition, the candidate should have strong analytical & presentation skills, ability to do financial simulations/modeling & share insights, strong in business partnering, be able to navigate a large organization and liaise with the relevant stakeholders.
