Expert analysis on the Utilization of Rabeprazole and other frequently prescribed PPIs for individuals suffering from GERD. 

<h2 id="objective">Objective</h2><ul><li>The study aims to explore expert opinions on the prescription practices of commonly used proton pump inhibitors (PPls), specifically focusing on oral rabeprazole 20 mg as a maintenance therapy for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERO) in India.</li></ul><h2 id="methods">Methods</h2><ul><li>A questionnaire-based survey comprising 25 questions gathered insights from experts across various regions of India regarding their prescription practices of rabeprazole 20 mg and other PPls for managing GERO symptoms.</li></ul><h2 id="results">Results</h2><p><strong>A totaI of 512 participants contributed to the study. Key findings include:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Comorbid Conditions:</strong> 44% identified obesity as the most common comorbidity in GERO patients, while 28% noted coexisting diabetes mellitus as represented in Fig 1.</li></ul><p><strong>Figure. 1.
