Conditions likes aches, pain and fever are all associated with an increased level of inflammation in the body. NAPROFAZT contains a drug called naproxen which can reduce inflammation and its effects on the body. It comes in a softgel capsule to allow easy absorption and provide quick relief from aches, pains and fevers.

Each Softgel Capsule contains:

Active ingredient:

Naproxen (as Naproxen Sodium) 200 mg

Inactive Ingredients:

Polyvinylpyrrolidone, Propylene Glycol, Lactic Acid, Polyethylene Glycol 600, Gelatin, Glycerin, Sorbital, Purified Water, Brilliant Blue.

03 INDICATIONS

It is used for temporarily relief of aches and pains such as migraine, gout, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, menstrual cramps, headache, toothache, etc.

It is also used to temporarily reduce fever.

04 HOW TO USE

In adults:

For the symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, or ankylosing spondylitis, take 1-2 capsules twice daily.

For the symptomatic treatment of acute gouty arthritis, take 3 capsules initially followed by 1 capsule every 8 hours.

For relief of mild to moderate pain or menstrual cramps and fever, take 2 capsules initially followed by 1 capsule every 6-8 hours or 2 capsules every 12 hours.

It is absorbed rapidly into the blood stream and promptly blocks the production of chemicals responsible for inflammation and pain.
NAPROFAZT is usually well-tolerated. However, in some people there may side effects like peripheral oedema, increased blood pressure, congestive heart failure, palpitations, vasculitis, tachycardia, dyspnoea, constipation, heartburn, abdominal pain, and nausea. Less frequently, dyspepsia, diarrhoea, stomatitis, vomiting, anorexia, colitis, peptic ulcers, GI bleeding/perforation, hematemesis and flatulence may occur.

The use of NAPROFAZT in the third trimester should be avoided, this is because it promotes premature closure of the ductus arteriosus of the heart in the foetus, leading to foetal pulmonary hypertension. It can be used during the first and second trimester of pregnancy only when the potential benefits justify the potential risks to foetus. Naproxen may pass into the breastmilk. Because of the potential for adverse effects from naproxen sodium in infants, use of the drug in nursing women should be avoided.
NAPROFAZT contains naproxen, which is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Anyone with hypersensitivities to aspirin and other NSAIDs should avoid using NAPROFAZT. NAPROFAZT is not suitable for people who have peptic ulcers as it may irritate the gut lining.
It is not recommended to use NAPROFAZT while using blood thinning medications like aspirin, warfarin etc. as it may increase the risk of bleeding. Please consult your doctor before using NAPROFAZT in such cases.
