Green beans boiled with pandan leaves

Ingredients and seasonings

  • 150 grams of green beans (not soaked)
  • 50 grams of cane sugar
  • 3 – 4 pandan leaves
  • 700 ml of clean water
  • ½ teaspoon flower of salt

Method

  • Wash the mung beans thoroughly.
  • Then soak it in clean water for 4-5 hours.
  • Once it is soaked, wash it clean.
  • Put clean water in a pot and place over medium heat. Add pandan leaves and salt. When the water boils, add the mung beans and cover the pot. Reduce the heat slightly. Use medium-low heat and continue to boil, skimming off the foam.
  • When the mung beans are cooked, add the palm sugar, mix well, and continue to boil for a while until the water boils, then turn off the heat and ladle into a serving bowl.
