Ingredients and seasonings
- 300 grams of mixed sweet potatoes (peeled and cut into medium thick pieces)
- 50 grams of sliced old ginger (peeled)
- 50 grams of coconut sugar (or palm sugar)
- 600 ml clean water
Method
- Put water in a pot and heat over medium heat.
- When it boils, add ginger and sweet potatoes. Cover with a lid.
- Boil until the potatoes are cooked, then add the coconut sugar, mix well, and cover with a lid.
- Continue boiling for a little longer until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Turn off the heat and ladle into serving bowls.
