Codepect (Codeine) is a cough relief medication. The medication offers relief from cough and its symptoms with three pills per day. It effectively loosens the phlegm and increases the viscosity of bronchial secretions. Codepect also effectively treats cough caused by changes in the weather, cough due to wind, cough present in the night, runny nose, and flu. It also acts as a mild pain reliever.

The most common side effects caused by Codepect are headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, low urination, fast or slow pulse, and fatigue.

Codepect is not recommended for women who are breastfeeding.

Codepect is not recommended for children with chronic respiratory illness, patients with liver diseases and respiratory failure, or children below 12 years who underwent tonsillectomy or adenoidectomy.
