PRENATAL contains all essential vitamins and minerals such as vitamin A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C, D, E, folic acid, calcium, magnesium, manganese, iron, iodine, potassium and zinc. All these vitamins and minerals play an important role in maintaining overall health of the mother and baby during pregnancy.
PRENATAL contains folic acid which is an extremely important element in the development of brain and spinal cord of the baby. Folic acid supports the expanding blood volume, growth of maternal (mother) and foetal (baby) tissues and prevents the risk of birth defects.
During pregnancy there is a greater demand for iron content as your body uses up the existing iron to make blood for you and your baby. PRENATAL contains iron, which may help to reduce the risk of iron deficiency anaemia (decreased amount of red blood cells due to iron deficiency).
PRENATAL contains calcium which may help in healthy development of bones and teeth of your baby. It also contains vitamin D which helps to improve your body’s ability to absorb calcium.
You may take 1 capsule of PRENATAL in a day or as prescribed by your doctor.
If you miss a dose of PRENATAL, you may skip it for that day and continue taking it the next day. Do not double the dosage to compensate for the missed dosage.
PRENATAL may not cause any side effects if taken according to the prescribed dosage and duration.
