Chief Wellness Coach at Wellness We care

About

Dr. Sant Chaiyodsilp, MD (FCTS, FRCST, FRCFMT) is the Senior Consultant and Specialist at the Check-up Center, Phyathai 2 Hospital, and Chief Wellness Coach at Wellness We care (a Mega We care initiative).

Drawing inspiration from his own life journey—where he reversed his ischemic heart condition through a plant-based whole food diet without surgery—the heart surgeon–turned–family physician advocates the idea that heart disease can indeed be reversed with a plant-based whole food diet.

As a surgeon, Dr. Sant has treated patients at Greenland Hospital in Auckland, New Zealand, and Saraburi Regional Hospital in Saraburi, Thailand, before joining Rachavithi Hospital in Bangkok in 1993. He went on to serve as the Director of the Phyathai Heart Center, Phyathai 2 Hospital, Bangkok, in 1999, and later became the Executive Director of the same hospital in 2002. He also held the roles of Director and Executive Director at Kasemrad Hospital, Bangkok.

Currently, he is the President of the Thai Resuscitation Foundation and a Council Member of the Thai Resuscitation Foundation (Thai Heart Association).

In addition, he runs a personal blog where he answers health-related questions, which attracts at least two million followers annually.

In his free time, Dr. Sant enjoys farming, gardening, and growing vegetables—activities that bring him joy because they keep him close to nature.
